The cozy cottage boasted all the necessary amenities, including a well-equipped kitchen and a snug sitting area. the comfortable beds and the welcoming log fire added to the homely atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. Vera, the gracious host, ensured our stay was enjoyable and stress-free, welcoming our dogs with open arms. the freedom to bring our pets without any additional charges was a delightful surprise. Though my stay was cut short due to unforeseen circumstances, the memories of evening walks along the beach and relaxing by the fire with a gin will stay with me. Overall, Dove Cottage offers excellent value for money, providing a peaceful retreat for those seeking a quiet getaway in the Lake District. I highly recommend it to fellow travelers seeking a cozy and pet-friendly accommodation option.
